Meet Your Candidates—
On Saturday, March 3, at 11 am, stop in for an informal coffee hour to speak with those running for office in your town. “Meet Your Candidates.” Time to have a conversation with candidates running for public office. Time to discuss questions with other people. Learn what is happening in your town.
Story Time
Wednesday morning Story Time at the Dublin Public Library will be fun for everyone as we learn about sending and receiving mail. We will talk about stamps and the Post Office and read some great books. In our generation of instant messaging and e-mail, receiving a letter in our mailbox is very exciting! The animals in the book Special Deliveries discover this when they do a mail route where no one ever gets mail. They have a clever way of solving this problem. What does it feel like to be a letter dropped in that dark box? The Inside Story gives a description and takes us on a journey from the point of view of the letter. We will also learn how to make a pop-up card to mail to someone special. Programs are held Wednesday mornings 9:30-10:30 am on March 7, 14, 21, 28.
Check out our displays while visiting the library. March is National Craft Month, National Nutrition Month and Women’s History Month. We will have great books on these subjects for all levels.
