This year’s annual Children’s Day (June 30) to kickoff the summer reading program will have participants paying homage to the Grand Monadnock.

Charlie Kerwin, geology professor at Keene State, will speak about the most climbed-on “rock” in the world. He will bring samples of different rocks to show, and there will be a sifting activity where children can find their own rocks and minerals. There will be rock crafts, including rock mosaic design, and refreshments.

Please come on Saturday, June 30, from 10 am to 12 noon, in the lower level of the Dublin Library. Children must be accompanied by adults. Rock on and see you there!
