Free benefits and discounts to military personnel and their families during summer 2012.
Sharon Arts Center announced the launch of Blue Star Museums, a partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and other organizations and museums across America to offer free admission and special discounts to all active duty military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day 2012.
Sharon Arts will offer member benefits including discounts at Sharon Arts Fine Craft Gallery and discounted tuition at the Sharon Arts School of Art and Craft.
In addition to Sharon Arts, there are more than a dozen other New Hampshire participating organizations.
Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,500 museums across America.
The Sharon Arts Exhibition Gallery is accessed through Depot Square and 30 Grove St. in downtown Peterborough. The Craft Gallery is located in Depot Square in Downtown Peterborough. Store and Exhibition Gallery hours are: Monday – Saturday 10 am to 6 pm, Sunday 11 – 5 pm.
