There is growing enthusiasm for the Dublin Community Center, and the opportunities it will offer Dublin and area residents in the near future!
Margaret Nelson, Dublin resident and director of The River Center in Peterborough, is looking forward to working collaboratively with the Community Center, and bringing some of The River Center’s programs to Dublin.
The River Center currently offers off-site programs in Jaffrey and New Ipswich, such as their parenting programs. “I’m excited about having a Community Center, as a resident, and as the director of The River Center,” said Margaret. “There is such a need for a venue to bring people together, the younger, the older, and the in-betweens…This will add a spirit of community to Dublin, as well as provide a place for needed programs.”
The River Center, located on Concord Street in Peterborough, provides needed programs for residents in the surrounding towns, including Dublin, such as parenting programs, babysitting, computer literacy, tax planning assistance, food preparation, and numerous other services.
