Monadnock Rotary Club (MRC) announced that net proceeds from September’s Sixth Annual Monadnock Rotary Wellness Festival totaled more than $11,000.

“During the six years that the club has held the festival,” Wagner said, “more than $56,000 has been raised for worthy organizations throughout the Monadnock Region.” He added that this year’s recipients of funds included Monadnock Healthy Teeth to Toes, the Monadnock Area Food Pantry at All Saints Church, and Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Services.

Ruth Clark, Monadnock Rotary Club President, hands over the club’s donation to Meredith White of the Monadnock Area Food Pantry. Matt Wagner joins the group.

The MRC believes its community service projects should be fun, interesting and worthwhile to the community. MRC projects include the establishment of the Dublin Rotary Park, the Winter Fun Day for kids and families, RYLA, International exchange students and other scholarship efforts, and The Monadnock Rotary Food Growers Tour, which promotes local food producers.
